LYRIDS (2024)
Jamie and Olivia, a young couple from a small town in Cumbria, meet up on April 29th to see the Lyrids, a meteor shower that only occurs for a short period of time every year. However, the couple begin to drift apart as Olivia's desire to leave the town clashes with Jamie's eagerness to stay.
We shot 'Lyrids' in the summer of 2023, and so far it's the longest and most challenging short film project that we've made, It was recently submitted to a range of film festivals around the UK and will be released publicly later in 2024.
FOREVER (2022)
After moving away to start a new life, an emotionally damaged young woman begins to suspect that an abusive ex-boyfriend has begun stalking her. Is this just her mind playing tricks on her? Or is something far more sinister going on?
FATED (2021)
A young woman's life descends into chaos when she finds a familiar face lying dead in a field.
‘Fated’ is a zero-budget short psychological horror film that we made for the 2021 BIFA short horror film competition.

This short film was made as part of BFI Film Academy North's 'No-budget horror short film DIY Challenge', and was shortlisted by a team of industry panellists.
KEY TO THE UNKNOWN (2021)
After arguing with her overprotective mother, a rebellious teenager discovers a mysterious key that opens up a door to a magical world, a world that may offer her the escape she’s been looking for.
This short was made for Manchester Actors’ Platform MAP21 Film Challenge, in which we had 21 days to conceptualise, write, shoot, edit and upload a short film featuring a particular prop from a list of choices. Our submission was well received and was nominated for ‘Best Director’ & ‘Best Use of Prop’ by a panel of industry professionals.

AN ODE TO 'A GHOST STORY' (2021)
A sad, lonely ghost bound to a house discovers that there is more to life (or death) than the endless cycle that they’ve been trapped in.

Inspired by the 2017 David Lowery film ‘A Ghost Story’, I used similar imagery to tell a different story, one relevant to how we were all feeling over lockdown.
​
This is the first project I've made to feature a completely original score, by the Cumbrian musician/composer, Owen Evans.

David Lowery ('A Ghost Story', 'The Green Knight', Pete's Dragon') watched and praised the film saying it was "such a treat to see".
UNFORGOTTEN (2020)
They say no one's ever really gone.
A young woman is struggling to come to terms with the unexpected death of her fiancé. However, strange occurrences in the house could indicate that she isn’t as alone as she thinks she is.
THE SETTLING HOUSE (2020)
Eliza was used to hearing strange noises in the middle of the night, but something this time was not quite right. A quick look downstairs wouldn’t go amiss, surely?
